Meal Plan

We make sure that children at Fantazie enjoy a healthy diet. Our experienced cooks use fresh ingredients and cook delicious meals without any chemical additives.

Registration and Cancellation

All children are registered for all-day dining. First registration is done by a legal representative - based on instructions emailed by the manager of the school canteen.

The child's legal representative is obliged to cancel the meals by 10 a.m. one day before the child's planned absence from the nursery school, e.g. to cancel Wednesday's lunch is only possible by Tuesday 10 a.m.

If a child is absent unexpectedly - the first day of the child's unplanned absence at the nursery school is considered to be a usual attendance and the child is entitled to get a meal. Parents can pick the food at the nursery school from 11 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. during lunch distribution. Parents must bring their own lunch boxes. This meal is intended for immediate consumption! Unless the meal is picked up, the right to pick it expires. The child's legal representative is obliged to cancel the meals, should the child be ill for longer.

After the child gets back to the nursery school, the legal representative must re-register the meal plan. This means that if the child is present at the nursery school during lunchtime, he/she always gets the lunch.

Canteen

The school canteen at Náměstí Svornosti 7, Brno, is an independent contributory organisation founded by Brno-Žabovřesky district.

The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, the workplace is of high standard and meets demanding hygienic requirements. Specially trained staff are responsible for making the diet rich and healthy.

We place emphasis on choosing our suppliers carefully. We prepare meals from fresh, quality ingredients and a lot of vegetables. Our cooks combine meat dishes and vegetarian meals which contain a reasonable amount of legumes suitable for children. Children are provided with a lot of different fruit and vegetables every day to complement their diet. Throughout the day, children are offered drinks (tea, water, juice, milk). Eating well is very important for us. Therefore, we are constantly working on making the diet rich and well-balanced. The most important thing, though, is to make the dishes attractive and tasty for children.
